The Brief

Glover Park Golf, a tournament organizer and event company, organizes a national golf tournament series for players of all skill levels. Through the mobile app, golfers will be able to track net scores on a live national leaderboard and compete against friends, and other golfers across the nation.

The Challenge

Providing live tracking of multiple players playing together across locations. Managing and recording scores of all players and defining a leaderboard. The app had to factor in the difficulty (par/rating/slope) of the golf course no matter where the player is and adjust the scores accordingly to level the playing field. The app was required to manage the live leaderboard and user ranking of all 3 tournaments offered by GPGolf.

The Solution

MindInventory helped the customer create a mobile application for iOS and Android giving them real-time insights into the progress of each golfer through the tournament.

Cross-Platform App Development

We used Flutter for developing the app which uses the same code base for multiple platforms to cater to users with a highly customizable interface. You can keep a tab of your score, track your handicap, and compete with your friends nationwide via the GPG Satellite.

User Registration & Invites

The users can register themselves by using a joining code for various tournaments and also have the functionality to invite their friends to the tournament to compete against each other.

Tracking & Sharing Scorecards

The application has a functionality that allows the player to share the scorecard with their friends across the country. You can track live progress and measure performance from different locations.

Community Function

You can share your passion for competitive golf and connect a community of golfers everywhere (of all skill levels) to make the game more engaging and fun and at the same time connect with other players.
